Check-in and Check-out:

Check-in from: 14:00

A valid photo ID must be presented at check-in. Your reservation must be paid in full before accessing the room. We provide the basic bedding kit with elastic sheet, cover sheet and pillowcase free of charge. Towels and duvets are only available in private rooms, if your reservation is in a shared room, we recommend that you bring your own or check if the unit of your reservation has the loan service for these items. You must also receive an individual room key. If the key is lost, a fine will be charged (R$10 key private room, R$40 key apartment
 and R$20 dorms access card)

Check-out until: 12:00

Schedule your departure. If you need to leave before this time, you must contact the reception to check availability and a fee of 50% of the daily rate is charged. The maximum late check-out time is at 20:00. Check-outs after hours that are not notified in advance are subject to a fine between 50% (shared rooms) and 100% (private rooms) of the daily rate

Reception - Open 24 hours

The reception is open 24 hours a day and has a team trained to help guests with information on transport, tours, facilities and questions. check-out at no additional cost. To store luggage for longer, it is necessary to request the reception in advance. We also offer tours, transfers and tickets for events and parties. The Solar Beach unit has the loan service of towels and blankets (Laundry fee of R$5 per item).

Bedrooms:

The beds are identified with tags, if you need to change yours, ask a receptionist. Each guest is entitled to 1 locker that must be locked with their padlock. The air conditioning has limited hours and can only be used between 10 pm to 8 am at dorms. You need to ask a receptionist to turn it on. We ask that the room be kept clean, with lights and fans turned off in case you are leaving the room empty. Your contribution to the maintenance of the space is very important. Children or pets are not allowed in shared rooms.

Security rules:

Remember to keep valuables and other belongings locked in the closet. We recommend that computers, tablets and cameras are stored at reception. Do not leave money and other belongings on the bed. Keep your cell phone under your supervision at all times. The hostel is not responsible for lost or stolen items. In case of theft, contact the nearest police station:

Kitchen:

It works between 7am and 10pm. All dishes used must be washed by the guest. For food storage in the fridge, we ask that guests put a tag with name, room number and departure date. Anything unidentified will be discarded. Tags are available at the reception desk.

General rules:

We ask for the collaboration of guests to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the establishment, keeping it as you would like to find it. In the event of a notorious lack of care for the facilities and space, non-compliance with any of the rules of this regulation or serious disturbances to the comfort and tranquility of other guests, fines may be incurred to compensate for the damage caused or even the expulsion of the guest from the establishment without the right to reimbursement. .

Visits: - Are not allowed inside the hostel.  

 

Smoking is prohibited in rooms and closed areas of the hostel. We recommend that guests use the outdoor areas such as terraces and garden.

When the bar is in operation, it is forbidden to enter with drinks purchased outside the hostel at the Solar Búzios unit.

Pets are allowed in the private rooms of the Solar Búzios unit, but prior authorization from the unit's management is required.

Reception and management are available for questions and information about your reservation, stay or hostel. Our team is trained to provide the best stay for our guests. 

Cancellation Policy:

Please note: A prepayment of 50% will be charged on all bookings anytime after booking. Refunds will be made according to the following rules:
 

Default cancellation policy:  

Free cancellation up to 14 days before check-in. After this period, a fee will be charged.
50% cancellation fee per requested spot and the rest of the amount paid will be refunded. In case of no-show, the guest must pay 100% of the stay.

CARNIVAL, NEW YEAR AND GREAT EVENTS


Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in. After that date, a fee will be charged.
100% cancellation per seat requested. In case of no-show, the guest must pay 100% of the stay. Prepayment on these dates is 100%.
